Installation

The MesoRD toolbox can be downloaded from http://mesord.sourceforge.net. There is a stand-alone version from MATLAB of the toolbox. With this version you do not have MATLAB installed on you computer. You instead need the MATLAB Component Runtime (MCR). A copy of the MCR can be requested at the MesoRDToolBox homepage. You also need to have libsbml, which can be downloaded from http://sbml.org/software/libsbml/. Installation of the toolbox is not needed, once you have either MATLAB or MCR and libsbml you can run the toolbox (see the section called “ How to start the MesoRD toolbox ”).

If you want to run the toolbox from MATLAB, download the code from http://mesord.sourceforge.net. You also need to have the SMBLtoolbox, it can be downloaded from http://sbml.org/software/sbmltoolbox/.

The toolbox saves matrices for the different species a folder called Vmat. If there does not exists a Vmat-folder a new one is made. When the toolbox is closed all .mat files in the Vmat folder will be deleted. Therefore do not save any .mat files in a folder called Vmat.
